Creemos que hay un solo Dios, Creador, Preservador y Gobernador de todas las cosas, que tiene en Sí mismo todas las perfecciones y que es infinito en todas ellas, a quien todas las criaturas deben el más elevado amor, reverencia y obediencia. We believe there is one God, Creator, Preserver and Governor of all things, who possesses in Himself all perfections and is infinite in all of them, to whom all creatures owe the highest love, reverence and obedience.

Creemos que en el principio creó todas las cosas de la nada. We believe that in the beginning He created all things from nothing.

Creemos que Dios se nos ha revelado como un solo Ser que coexiste en tres Personas de la misma naturaleza divina, Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo, esto es, la Trinidad. We believe that God has revealed Himself to us as one Being who coexists in three Persons of the same divine nature — Father, Son and Holy Spirit — that is, the Trinity.

Creemos que Dios es Padre desde la eternidad. We believe that God is Father from eternity. He decrees or permits all that occurs and perpetually sustains, directs and governs all creatures and all events; yet in such a way that under no circumstances is He the author of sin nor does He approve it.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of Mary, a Jewish virgin. He is fully human and fully God. As the spotless sacrifice He was crucified and buried; but He rose from the dead and ascended to heaven, where He is now exalted at the right hand of God.

He inspired holy men of old to write the Scriptures. Today He illumines the mind to understand their truth and convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment. He works salvation, dwells in the believer, animates, strengthens and seals him to secure his salvation.

Creemos que Dios creó al hombre a Su imagen, libre de pecado y como un agente moral libre. Además lo creó varón y hembra, iguales en naturaleza; pero con diferentes atributos, propósitos y llamamientos. Por la tentación de Satanás, Adán traspasó el mandamiento de Dios y cayó de su estado original de rectitud e inocencia, por lo cual su posteridad recibió una naturaleza corrupta, totalmente opuesta a Dios y a Su ley; está bajo condenación y tan pronto como llega a ser capaz de una acción moral, se hace verdadero transgresor. We believe that God created man in His image, free from sin and as a free moral agent. He further created him male and female, equal in nature; but with different attributes, purposes and callings. Through Satan's temptation, Adam transgressed God's command and fell from his original state of righteousness and innocence, whereby his posterity received a corrupt nature, wholly opposed to God and His law; it is under condemnation and as soon as it becomes capable of moral action, it becomes a true transgressor.

Creemos en el soberano designio de Dios al elegir y atraer hacia Sí aquellos que Él salva según la complacencia de Su voluntad. We believe in the sovereign purpose of God in choosing and drawing to Himself those whom He saves according to the good pleasure of His will.

Creemos que Cristo murió por los pecados del hombre, que Su sacrificio fue vicario y sustitutivo y que es eficaz para todos los que creen. Al contrario, no hay salvación para el hombre aparte de la fe personal en Cristo. We believe that Christ died for the sins of man, that His sacrifice was vicarious and substitutionary and that it is efficacious for all who believe. Conversely, there is no salvation for man apart from personal faith in Christ.

Creemos que la regeneración o nuevo nacimiento es la obra de la gracia de Dios para producir un cambio en el corazón de uno y que el agente de esta transformación es el Espíritu Santo. Creemos que justificación es un término judicial que expresa el concepto de que por la fe del creyente en Cristo, aquel es "declarado justo". We believe that justification is a judicial term expressing the concept that through the believer's faith in Christ, he is "declared righteous."

Creemos que la santificación comienza en el momento de la salvación, cuando el creyente es apartado para los propósitos de Dios. Desde este momento el creyente es habilitado para progresar o crecer en Cristo por medio de la obra continua del Espíritu que mora en él. We believe that sanctification begins at the moment of salvation, when the believer is set apart for God's purposes. From this moment the believer is enabled to progress or grow in Christ through the ongoing work of the indwelling Spirit.

Creemos que la glorificación es el estado final del creyente, el bendito estado eterno. We believe that glorification is the final state of the believer, the blessed eternal state.

Creemos que la iglesia es una congregación local y autónoma de creyentes bautizados cuyo propósito es llevar adelante la Gran Comisión. También es llamada el cuerpo de Cristo. Su cabeza es Jesucristo. We believe that the church is a local, autonomous congregation of baptized believers whose purpose is to carry forward the Great Commission. It is also called the body of Christ. Its head is Jesus Christ.

Creemos que de la iglesia también se habla como una institución con aspectos universales. We believe that the church is also spoken of as an institution with universal aspects.

Creemos que el bautismo es una ordenanza del Señor Jesús, en la cual el creyente es sumergido en agua en el nombre del Padre, y del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo, como señal de su participación en la muerte y la resurrección de Cristo, de la remisión de sus pecados y de que ahora vive y anda en novedad de vida. We believe that baptism is an ordinance of the Lord Jesus, in which the believer is immersed in water in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, as a sign of participation in the death and resurrection of Christ, of the remission of sins and of now living and walking in newness of life.

Creemos que la Cena del Señor es una ordenanza de Jesucristo para ser administrada con los elementos de pan y el fruto de la vid; y para ser observada por Sus iglesias hasta el fin del mundo. We believe that the Lord's Supper is an ordinance of Jesus Christ to be administered with the elements of bread and the fruit of the vine; and to be observed by His churches until the end of the world. It is in no sense a sacrifice, but was established to commemorate His death, to renew the believer's fellowship with Him and to renew the fellowship of the church.

En el tiempo que Dios escoja traerá el mundo a su apropiado fin. Jesucristo regresará a la tierra de manera personal y visible. Los muertos serán resucitados y juzgados: los justos para recompensa eterna y los injustos para condenación perpetua. Los justos morarán para siempre en la nueva creación con cuerpos glorificados. Los injustos sufrirán la condenación eterna en el infierno. In the time God chooses He will bring the world to its appropriate end. Jesus Christ will return to earth personally and visibly. The dead will be resurrected and judged: the righteous for eternal reward and the unrighteous for perpetual condemnation. The righteous will dwell forever in the new creation with glorified bodies. The unrighteous will suffer eternal condemnation in hell.
